Learn how to FLY at Summer Intensives!

Happy Rainy Tuesday, y’all!!! Join us during the Summer Intensive Camps to learn how to FLY! Okay, maybe not quite “fly” but learn some cool stuff. We have three different Summer Intensive Camp weeks. The first will be a Sparring Intensive Camp from May 28th-31st. The second will be a Judo Intensive Camp from June 17th-21st. The third and last will be a Bo Staff Intensive Camp from July 8th-12th. Space is very limited, and some restrictions apply. Shoot Sensei Susan or Coach Becca and email with any questions you may have!

Curriculum this week :

Dragons :

Block Set, Stances and Blocks with Noodles

Basic Karate Kids :

Basic 2, Self-Defense and Kicking
Intermediate and Advanced Karate Kids :

Heian Sandan, Self-Defense and Intermediate Kicking

Self-Defense & What That Means

This week we are talking a lot about self-defense either verbally and/or physically, and when to use which one. We have had a lot of awesome mat chats with our fantastic students, already this week and it’s only Tuesday! This is such an important topic to discuss and as always, please feel free to ask your instructors about any questions or concerns you may be having. At the end of the day, parents, discuss with your kiddos your preference of what you want them to do. We care about all of our students SO MUCH, and will do everything in our power to help prepare them to protect themselves.

Happy Birthday, Caleb!

This weekend we got to celebrate Caleb’s birthday on Saturday here at the dojo! We had a kickin’ good time!!!

We have a box here at the dojo for food donations to the Well. Check out the High Needs list of food items on The Well’s website which highlights the most needed items for the shelves. Bring your items here and we will make sure they make them over there!
