Why Family First

What makes us different from every other school in town

No child gets lost in the crowd

Up to three trained coaches run every kids class. We hold a strict 6:1 ratio in Tiny Titans and 10:1 in Guardian Kids, so every student gets personal attention and real-time feedback.

Character first, kicks second

Our quarterly curriculum is built around goal setting, resilience, self-awareness, and leadership in action. Character skills are woven into every drill, never taught as lectures.

A schedule that bends to your week

Every program is two classes a week, but you pick which two. Monday and Wednesday this week, Tuesday and Saturday the next. No fixed slot you have to lock into.

Built for the whole family

Parents can train too, in their own adult program while kids train in theirs. Same dojo, same values, separate classes designed for each age. Multi-family discounts included.

Belts are earned, never handed out

Testing happens quarterly, by invitation, after a student earns every required stripe. When your child stands at a belt ceremony, that belt means something.

Your first class is free, with no commitment

Fill out a quick waiver, and your child joins a real class on day one. Afterward we walk you through membership options in person and in plain English, with no pressure to enroll.

The Curriculum

The kid is the mission. Martial arts is the method.

Every quarter, classes are built around one of four character themes. Your child grows through all four every year, on the mat and off it.

  • Vision & Victory. Goal setting and a growth mindset.
  • Mental Toughness. Resilience and focus under pressure.
  • Emotional Intelligence. Self-awareness and empathy.
  • Power with Purpose. Service and leadership in action.

Questions

Answers for busy parents

Kids can start at age 4 in our Tiny Titans program. Classes are 30 minutes, built for short attention spans, and held at a strict 6:1 student-to-coach ratio so your child gets real attention from day one.

Membership runs in the upper $100s to low $200s a month, depending on the commitment level you choose. Every membership includes two classes a week and the first uniform. We walk each family through the options in person after the free first class, so you see a real class before you talk numbers.

Parents and kids each train in their own age-appropriate program. Same dojo, same family, separate classes. Kids need age-appropriate pacing and adults need adult-level instruction, so mixing the two would shortchange both. Belt ceremonies are where the whole family celebrates together.

Your child is greeted by name, gets a starter goodie bag, and joins a regular class: a fun warm-up, drills, a team activity, and a white-belt earning ceremony at the end. Comfortable workout clothes are perfect. Both parents are welcome to watch.
